General Fishing Rules & Regulations
- Fishing is only for members and their children under 21 years of age. Children cannot register to fish unless
the parent or legal guardian is an official member of the R.S.A.
- There is a seasonal fee of $15.00 for all adult members and their children (ages 16-20). Children 15yrs of
age and younger the fee will be $8.00. The fee covers all seasonal fishing as well as contests. The fee must be paid
prior to any participation. Upon payment a fishing identification badge will be given to the member. The badge must
be worn and visible at all times when fishing at the R.S.A. Fishing badges can be purchased at the clubhouse during
normal operating hours. A $1.00 late fee will be charged for all fishing badges purchased after Midnight prior to
opening day. A lost badge can be replaced for a $1.00 fee.
- All fishermen 16 years of age and older must have in their possession a current Pennsylvania fishing
license (do not need a trout stamp) but it's recommended by the PA Fish Commission.
- All children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult while fishing at the R.S.A.
- Creel limit will be five (5) trout per day, per fisherman. Creel limit for fall stocking will be three (3) per day,
per fisherman if applicable.
- One (1) rod or one (1) hand line per fisherman until after the last contest day. Then two (2) lines per
fisherman will be permitted.
- No boats or wading is allowed at any time.
- No Trout are to be released. Please release bass, catfish, carp, etc at your best discretion.
- No fishing on the days after trout has been stocked for contest. Notices will be posted at the pond and in
the clubhouse when this restriction is in effect.
- For safety reasons, spinners or spinning will not be allowed Opening Day and the First Day of Contests
until noon.
- No personal alcoholic beverages are permitted on the club grounds during club operating hours.
- Cleaning of fish and throwing entrails into pond at the R.S.A. is prohibited.
- No ice fishing allowed.
- Please register the number of fish caught in the box under the pavilion upon leaving.
- Each person must have his or her own stringer.
- Please no chumming is allowed at any time.
- Any and all violations could result in loss of fishing privileges.
